2021 Faculty of Human Social Development Teaching Excellence Award Recipient

Congratulations to Dr. Helen Monkman, Assistant Professor in the School of Health Information Science (HINF), Faculty of Human and Social Development on being awarded the 2021 Faculty of Human and Social Development Award for Teaching Excellence and Educational Leadership. 

This award recognizes excellence in teaching, educational leadership and innovation across key priorities for HSD including multidisciplinary work, community-based learning and teaching and distance education. Dr. Monkman’s accomplishments include: leading undergraduate curriculum reviews for HINF, funded scholarship in community engaged learning at UVic, mentorship of faculty, and interdisciplinary scholarship.
